Snell and Pounds Recognized for Years of Service

Holtzman Partners recognized two team members this spring for their years of service with the firm. Senior manager Ruth Snell was honored with the Ten Year Service Award and manager Ben Pounds received the Five Year Service Award during our spring awards and recognition celebration.

We are proud of these milestones in both of their careers and are grateful for their hard work and dedication to our people and our clients. We look forward to celebrating future milestones with them!

Ruth Snell

As a member of the firm’s audit and advisory teams, Ruth focuses her efforts on financial statement audits, employee benefit plan audits and SOX consulting. Additionally, Ruth leads the firm’s nonprofit audit practice.

Ruth began her accounting career at a regional firm in Atlanta. She later joined Holtzman Partners in 2004. Prior to becoming a CPA in the state of Texas in 2008, Ruth earned her bachelor’s in Spanish at Grinnell College in Iowa and a master’s in accounting at the University of Texas at Austin.

Ben Pounds

Ben is a member of the firm’s audit team and focuses primarily on financial statement audits and SOX compliance and has a special knack for tackling tougher areas such as equity financing and stock-based compensation.

Ben first joined Holtzman Partners as an audit intern in 2012 and later started his accounting career by returning to Holtzman Partners after college. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the College of Charleston and, more recently, became a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) in 2018.
