Natalie is skilled at helping clients understand best practices, identify risks, and incorporate mitigating controls. She has a background with SSAE 16 audits but is best known for being able to identify gaps and inefficiencies in processes and controls as they relate to SOX. She also has experience with assisting a Fortune 500 software company and a state government agency with re-engineering their business processes and modifying their control environments through finance transformation.
Natalie’s clients would say that she is pleasant to work with, and she knows how to keep engagements on track. She takes pride in offering the best client service possible and is most satisfied when she is able to propose a solution that satisfies a need. She has worked with clients at Symantec, Epicor Software, Asure Software, Bazaarvoice, American Campus Communities, and BrandMuscle.
Natalie began her career in the audit and enterprise risk group at Deloitte Austin where she assisted with internal and external audit by testing general computer controls and business cycle controls for municipal and state government, insurance, manufacturing, and energy clients. She continued her career at CF & Co., LLP in Dallas where she focused on financial statement audits and employee benefit plan audits. In 2011, Natalie joined Holtzman Partners as an experienced staff and has transitioned into specializing in internal processes and controls related engagements.
Prior to earning her CPA in the state of Texas in 2011, Natalie earned a B.B.A. in accounting and an M.S. in management information systems from Texas A&M University. She is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) a member of TSCPA and ISACA.
Natalie is on the advisory board for Grounded in Music. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching and playing various sports, and traveling.
What’s something you know a lot about?
I know how to play several domino games. I grew up learning from and playing dominoes with my grandparents.
What would be impossible for you to give up?
I would never give up my relationship with God.

I love to go to concerts and check out local live music.
