I received my bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and a Master’s degree from the University of Texas. While my degree from UT currently pays the bills, my allegiance lies with the Maroon and White.

WHERE DID YOU GROW UP AND WHY AREN’T YOU THERE NOW?

I grew up in Houston, TX where I started my career in teaching/coaching after earning my bachelor’s. My wife and I moved to Austin in 2010 after I received an offer to coach football at Westlake High School.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE FAMILY TRADITION?

Cutting down our own Christmas tree at a Christmas tree farm the Saturday after Thanksgiving and spending that afternoon/evening decorating with Christmas music and hot chocolate.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY IN YOUR SPARE TIME?

I like to squeeze in 18 holes of golf when I’m not spending time with my family.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SEASON?

Fall….cooler weather and college football!
