Rausch Joins Holtzman Partners as Tax Partner

Holtzman Partners has expanded its leadership team and is pleased to welcome new tax partner, Jon Rausch. “We’re so pleased to welcome Jon to Holtzman Partners, where his energy and technical expertise will add to the existing strength of our team,” says Chris Perkins, Holtzman Partners managing partner.

Jon joins Holtzman Partners with over 20 years of tax experience during which he has served clients in industries including software, technology, consumer product, manufacturing, energy and real estate. He really enjoys, and excels at, building long-term relationships and bringing valued tax consulting ideas to his clients. “I’m excited to be a part of such a well-respected and Austin-branded firm,” says Rausch. “Holtzman Partners’ market reputation is extremely strong and rightfully so. I look forward to contributing my experience to the firm as we strive for continued success.”

Jon began his career with Arthur Andersen in St. Louis and has most recently served as managing partner of Montgomery Coscia Greilich’s Austin office. Prior to joining MCG in 2015, Jon served as a director with PwC for eight years, where he led the firm’s Federal Income Tax Consulting groups in the Houston, New York and St. Louis areas. He has also served as partner at Grant Thornton where he led the firm’s Central Region Tax Consulting Group.

Before becoming a CPA in 1995, Jon earned a B.S. in accounting and an M.A. in accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is a CPA in the states of Missouri and Texas and is a member of the AICPA.
