Luke is best known for his ability to solve technical accounting issues for clients. He not only leads the firm’s quality initiative, he also specializes in financial statement audits, employee benefit plan audits and SOX consulting for industries such as software, technology and manufacturing. Some of his clients include Thermon Manufacturing Company, WP Engine, Q2 Software, American Campus Communities, SolarWinds and SailPoint Technologies.
Luke is often recognized for his natural ability to foster meaningful relationships with clients and coworkers. He has helped Holtzman Partners develop its coach and mentor program for employees, which focuses career development and growth.
Prior to starting his accounting career in 2002, Luke earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and a Master of Science in finance from Texas A&M University. Before joining Holtzman Partners in 2007, he worked for EY’s Houston and Austin offices focusing on multi-location retail and software companies. He is a CPA in the state of Texas and a member of the AICPA.
Luke is committed to Austin and his hometown community. He serves on the board of directors of Zilker Theatre Productions as the organization’s vice president, and is treasurer for a non-profit organization in his hometown of Stockdale, Texas. Luke is also an accomplished pianist and is active in his local church.
