With more than 30 years of accounting and operations experience, Lisa’s role as Holtzman Partners’ COO means she is the ultimate multitasker when it comes to the administration and operations of the firm.
Lisa manages the firm’s finance and accounting functions, such as budgeting, billing, payroll and accounts payable. She serves as human resources director to handle hiring, compensation and benefits, performance management and employment policy. If that weren’t enough, Lisa also oversees the maintenance and management of the firm’s facilities and technology resources.
Lisa began her career as an auditor at PwC but spent most of her career in industry with companies ranging in size from small public tech to Fortune 500. She understands what public accounting firms are like from the inside out since she has been on both sides. In industry, Lisa oversaw audit, tax and SOX consulting services provided by several public accounting firms. In fact, prior to joining Holtzman Partners, Lisa worked on a team that had hired the firm to conduct SOX services.
Prior to becoming a CPA, Lisa earned a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs and the CPA Firm Management Association. Lisa serves on the board of the Alpha Phi Building Association at the University of Texas and gives back to the community through a local chapter of the National Charity League, a mother-daughter philanthropic organization that serves a variety of charitable groups.
