As Holtzman Partners’ second hire and first administrative employee, Cathy understands the firm’s culture inside and out. She joined Holtzman Partners in 2005 as the firm’s office manager and, over the next 10 years, saw her responsibilities grow with the size of the firm to include supervision of an office assistant; management of employee onboarding, HR benefits, payroll, facilities, and myriad activities supporting and enhancing our workplace culture.
Cathy now manages the firm’s human resources functions, including developing, recommending and implementing personnel policies and procedures; performing benefits administration; overseeing recruiting efforts; and ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws. And, most importantly, she is Holtzman Partners’ “Minister of Culture,” ensuring that, as the firm grows, we continue to keep our most important asset—our people!—our top priority.
Prior to joining Holtzman Partners, Cathy earned a B.S. in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and a sustaining member of The Junior League of Austin.

What’s your favorite place to travel or visit?
I love to go to Round Top, Texas for the antique/ junk shows each fall and spring. It’s a great time to be outdoors in the scenic countryside.
