Holtzman Partners Supports Austin’s 2017 Startup Games

Firm News | January 21, 2017 | Holtzman Partners

Partner Cassie Crist and IT Senior Manager Mark Knight represented Holtzman Partners at the 7th Annual Austin Startup Games, and we’re pleased to announce that Austin’s tech community raised $56K for nonprofits at today’s Games. And, with May’s Level Up event, we’re looking to boost that number to a total of $100K!

Not familiar with the Startup Games? What started as a friendly rivalry between founders and CEOs of just a handful of Austin’s fastest growing and most collaborative startups has grown to a national movement, inspiring startup communities across the country to focus on company culture and philanthropy. How does it work? Local startup companies compete in brackets in a series of events during a single day of networking, fun and philanthropy. Each company plays for the charity of its choice, and every charity walks away with a grant. The largest portion of the funds raised goes to the charities of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.

Thanks to everyone who’s participating in and sponsoring this year’s Startup Games—and huge congrats to SpareFoot for reclaiming the Startup Games title and granting $20,000 to Kure It Cancer Research!
