Holtzman Partners Announces Changes in 2019
Austin-based public accounting firm, Holtzman Partners, has been in existence since 2004—the vision of Jamie Holtzman, John Moellenberg and Mike Panozzo. Its founders have been there every step of the way, driving growth, serving clients and empowering future leaders through coaching and mentoring. In 2019, one of the firm’s founders will be stepping away from Holtzman Partners.
After 30 years in public accounting, John Moellenberg has decided to leave Holtzman Partners and pursue new entrepreneurial endeavors which are outside of the firm’s current services. John founded the firm’s controls consulting practice which includes SOC audits, SOX and other internal control engagements. Having built the controls practice, and helped to develop leaders in both business controls and IT controls, John will be transitioning his clients in 2019. Mike Sobczyk will assume leadership of IT controls and Luke Childress will lead the business controls team.
John spent the first 16 years of his career at EY in three offices (Cleveland, St. Louis and Austin) working mostly with large, multinational companies. John earned a B.S. from Miami University-Oxford Ohio. He is a proud father and an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
“As my time with Holtzman Partners winds down, I am proud to leave behind a team of technical experts dedicated to the firm’s clients. I have full confidence that Mike and Luke will continue to fulfill our client service philosophy. I am excited to pursue other entrepreneurial opportunities, but I will always be proud of our accomplishments at Holtzman Partners and will be rooting for the firm’s continued success.” – John Moellenberg
