Holtzman Partners Mourns Loss of Angela Alwin
With great sadness we share the loss of Angela Alwin, our Business Development & Marketing Senior Manager. Angela’s courageous and unflinching battle with cancer ended peacefully on February 11, 2018. Her loss to our firm and the Austin community is profound. In her time with us, Angela played an integral role in the firm’s growth, as well as the preservation of our unique culture. Angela joined us in early 2016 and was responsible for sharing the Holtzman Partners story through various avenues, including the web and social media. She also collaborated with our clients, colleagues and alumni to foster mutually beneficial relationships within Austin’s business community. Angela made great strides in building sound processes in our marketing department and in better integrating our marketing efforts with other firm initiatives.
Prior to joining Holtzman, Angela led the business development and marketing efforts of a large Minneapolis-based law firm and, more recently, an established multi-location architecture firm. Her experience was a great boon to Holtzman, but her unique presence and personality will be irreplaceable.
Angela supported Austin’s creative community by volunteering with Fusebox Festival, the Texas Book Festival and Creative Mornings’ Austin chapter. She greatly enjoyed a membership at The Contemporary, the Harry Ransom Center and Austin Film Society, as well as a slice of artisanal cheese or a craft beer, on occasion.
Memorial service details are forthcoming. Until then, in lieu of flowers, Angela’s family asks that donations be made in her memory to one of the following organizations:
