Childress and Peterson Awarded for Years of Service
Holtzman Partners recognized two team members this week for their years of service with the firm. Luke Childress, partner, was presented with the 10-Year Service Award and Kat Peterson, executive director, received the 5-Year Service Award.
Managing partner, Chris Perkins, presented the awards to Luke and Kat during our July staff celebration. “Luke’s commitment to our people and our clients has been a driver for our firm’s growth,” Chris said about Luke reaching his 10-year anniversary. When speaking about Kat’s achievements in the past 5 years he said,”Kat’s technical expertise and client focus have been a great addition to our leadership team.”
Luke Childress started as a senior manager at Holtzman in 2007 and was promoted to partner in 2013. He has extensive experience serving the technology, manufacturing and retail industries. Luke also leads the firm’s Audit Quality Initiative Program and has helped develop our coach and mentor program for employees, which focuses on career development and growth. Luke is often recognized for his natural ability to foster meaningful relationships with clients and coworkers.
Kat Peterson began her career at Holtzman in 2012 as a senior manager and was promoted to executive director in 2016. She leads the firm’s accounting and advisory practice and is the firm’s resource on technical accounting matters and quality. Kat enjoys helping clients find solutions to accounting questions and is involved in a variety of engagements at the firm, including financial statement audits, employee benefit plan audits and advisory services.
“We are proud of these milestones in both of their careers and look forward to what’s to come in the future,” said Chris. Thank you, Luke and Kat, for all you have done over the years for Holtzman Partners!
